Gothic, due at Lyttelton about tht middle of next month, has about 1400 tons of cargo forihw port. The s.B. Monowai arrived here at 7.25 a.m. 40-day. She left ; Melbourne at 11.30 p.m. on Nov. 19, arrived- at Hobart at 8 p.m. on/ Nov. 21, ' left again the same 3ay at midnight, arriving at •'Hie Bluff at 5 a.m. on Nov. 25. When the s.s. Wakanui was lying in the stream recently, she lost an anchor, and about fifteea fathoms ef chain. This moriiing anchor and chain were recovered. A diver, 4£t Sinclair, went down from the steam launch Lyttelton for the purpoee, and'lhis operations were ancoesafuL
To-morrow the Huddait* Parker s.s. WesIralia will arrive from Sydney via Wellington, and wiil leave for Melbourne via southern port 8 in the afternoon. The Zealandia will arrive from Sydney via east coast ports, and will leave early in the afternoon for Dunedin. The Shaiw, Savill «nd Albion Company's a.s.
