MUSGKOVE'S OPERA COMPANY — , « . Musgrove's Oomic Opera Company will open its season at tie Theatre Royal pn Tuesday next with "The Thirty luieves," a work hitherto unknown in Christchurch. The company is now playing in Dunedin, where "The Thirty Thieves" has achieved a great success. The personnel of the company is not unfamiliar to Christcburch playgoers. Mr Edward Lauri, Miss May Beajity and Miss Josephine Stanton are among the principals, aud there are several others whose names are almost equally familiar. As a spectacular play the piece is said to be very brilliant, and Mr Musgirove'h'as spared no expense an staging it. The box plan for the first performance was opened fhis morning at Messrs MUner >and Thompson's, where there was a great demand for seats. To-morrow the plan for the remainder of the season will be available.
