From the balcony of the W.C.T.TJ. rooms, on Tuesday evening, xtir A. D. Hassall addressed the electors, returning thanks for the support accorded him. He said that, entering the contest at a late period, and depending solely on his platform utterance, he had undertaken a formidable task. The result tad proved that tihe electors were unwilling to make a change. He was prepared to take his defeat in a manly spirit, and no doubt on a future occasion he would again offer his services. !
