The Legislative Assembly, on a motion for adjournment, urging the imperative necessity of the State Government continuing to post shipping telegrams, strongly condemned the Federal Government's decision to discontinue the messages. The Federal Cabinet yesterday discussed the subject, and arrived at no decision. A FALLING REVENUE. The New South Wales quarterly revenue was £36,000 less than the revenue for the corresponding last quarfer. The- shrinkage is attributed to the drought.
