KAIAPOI ELECTORATE.
10 lit EDITOR. Sir, — You say in. Thursday's " Star" that the present member for Kaiapoi holds the representation of the electorate in the " hollo wof his hand." Now, as it appears to me, there is very little difference in. the political platform's of the two candidates, and Mr Hassall is undoubtedly gaining a large amount of support. You would relieve me, as an old friend of Mr Buddb, of much anxiety if you would give your reasons for the above statement. — I am, etc. (The reasons are so obvious that, on reflection, they will probably strike our correspondent. — Ed.
