FIRES.
a [From Our Correspondent.] DUNEDIN, June 21. A six-roomed house, at St Kilda, occupied by Mr James McDonald, a carter, and owned by the Hon H. Gourley, was burned down this afternoon. The insurances are— On the building, £250, in the Victoria Office, and on the furniture, £100, in the New Zealand Office.
