The funeral of the late Mr John Lochhead, which took plaCe at Leeston this afterndto, wa« one or, if not the largest} attended funerals ever seen in the district, the procession being over a mile in length, and comprising over 150 vehicles. The Rev W. Grant officiated at the graveside, and bhe service was a most impressive on©. I There were visitore Jrom all parts of the ' oolony.
