The Governor been advised from South Africa as follows: — Robert Laing, of Bulclutha, died of dysentery at Elandsfontein, 'on June 17 5 H. E. Collison, of R«kaia, was accidentally killed .at Forthay, on Jurte 16. • The following are dangerously ill of enteric :—G. Atkinson (Wairoa South), Sergeant 1* Campbell (Christchurch), E. Baker (Waikato), B. Gooding (Ngaire, Taranaki), ahd G. Cox (Oataaruja W. Whotter AVaikJuaiti) is ill ofi-dy-sentery, and K Lee v (Woodlaods, Southland) and W. Grant (Middlettianfch, Otago), are both suffering from injuries. Tho Ruapehu left Cape Town on June 15, for Wellington, with Lieutenants. Simpson, Duncan and Fraser, Surgeon-Captain Deck, and fourteen men of various Contingents, and two members of the Imperial Light Horse.
