Tho foundation stone of tho permanent memorial of the Coronation to be erected in Lyttelton is to be laid: by ths' Mayor during tho celebrations on Thursday nest. Long service medals are to be presented to some members of the Lyttelton Volun^ teer corps on the same occasion 1 . The children attending the Rangiora Borough Schools were presented with the Government souvenir coronation cards thi3 afternoon, and were then dismissed for a week's holiday.
