The . final surrender of the Orange Free State Commandos was made at Quaggafontein, where Brand's commando, of 248 men, and Niewhonath's, Of 452 men, gave in their submission. All the. men were poorly clad. General Do Wet urged them to bo loyal to Britain till the death. General Elliott also addressed the surrenderers, and his speech was received with hearty cheers for ths King. One thousand one hundred and twenty rebels have surrendered in Cape Colony. Lord Kitchener reports that the surrender is completed. In the Transvaal 11,225 men have come in, with 10,832 rifles, and in the Orange River Colony 6395 men, with 4280 rifles. The South African Constabulary have been transferred to the civil authorities.A final batch of 150 surrenders is awaited in Cape Colony,
