<» — — j [Per Press Association.] ' l TIMABU, June 10. The criminal sessions of the Supreme Court opened this morning, before Mr Justice Williams. The calender comprised two accused who had pleaded guilty in the Lower Court, and four charges against five persons which were sent to the Grand Jury. Horace Broadhead, a youth, _wa3 admitted to six months' probation, for stealing jewellery from a dwelling. Thomas Wilson, for forging and uttering a cheque, was sentenced t<v nine months' imprisonment with hard labour. James Tucker, afc present undergoing a sentence of three years' imprisonment, for horse stealing, had six months added to his term, for another charge lately discovered ; and Thomas Nevin, charged with the theft of jewellery, at Ashburton, was found " Nob Guilty." '
