NEW BRIGHTON DOMAIN BOARD.

! A meeting of the New Brighton Domain Board was held last night-. The Mayor (Mr George Mclntyre) was in the chair, and there were present — Messrs Wyafct, Thomson, Walker, Foster, Bellamy and Edwards. The report of the sub-committee was read, and, after considerable discussion, with regard to the method of cutting a\ad carting away of timber, it was adopted. It was decided that as the conditions with regard to tho cutting of timber laid down- had not been* carried out, the present contract should be terminated. The Treasurer's report showed that the balance in hand was £9 10s, of which the sum of £5 was voted to the sub-committee to make improvej ments. The balance-sheet showed receipts to be £51 Is lOd, and ihe expenditure £36 19b. It was decided, on the motion of Mr j Edwards, that in futivre day labour should be employed for the cutting of trees in the j Domain, and the Board than rose.
