The negotiations for tho resumption of Mr Diedrich's estate of 5000 acres at Kokatahi have soVjta? advanced Uiat the Land P-urchase Board has recommended the resumption «f 1700 acres, the balance of 3300 acres being left to Mr Diedrichs and; his family. The cpae was to have come before the Court on. June 30, and preparations w«re being made by the Orown and Mr Diedrichs for its conduct by the respective sides. A number of experts and landvaluers who have been inspecting the country >vere re-called yesterday, and it is nowexpected that the matter frill be adjusted on the recommendations of the Commissioners.
