Lance-Corporal was -scratched. La Polish drew away two furlongs from home, winning by three lengths, a neck between second and third. v Time— lmin 10 2-ssec. Dividends— lnside, £3 S3 6d and £1 6s; outside, £_ lis €d and :£1 9s> 6d. SECOND HANDICAP HURDLE RACE, j of aOO sovs; ono mile and three-quarters— Tresham, 9st U2lb (Julian), 1; Haydn, list 41b (Ferrus), 2; Tim, list 21'b (Hall), 3. Bellain, Hippowai and Mokomoko a.so started. Tresham led almost' throug-hout. Hippowai, while running in -second place, fell at the last 'fence. Time— 3min 42sec. Dividends— lnside £2 ls 6d- and 17s; outside £2 ls and 16s. BRITiNNIA HANDICAP, of 150 sovs; one mile— Formula, 7st 10lb (Ryan), 1; Matalnataharakiki, Sst 4l>b (Satman), 2; Golden Rose, 6st 71'b (Deeloy), 3. Taplow was scratched. Formula won easily by a length. Time — lmin 54sec. Dividends— lnside £5 lis 6d and £1 6s 6d; outside £A 4s and\£l 7s.
