<•> - WHAT NELSON RESIDENTS HEARD. [Per T_iess Association.] NE_fc>o_, May 28. Strange booming sounds were heard by many residents last night. Some people imagined that guns were being fired at sea as signals of the proclamation of peace. The circumstances are unexplained.
