[Per Press Association.] GISBORNE, May 28. The Gisborne Borough Council has resolved to spend up to £200 on the Coronation celebrations. WAIPAWA, May 28. - At a meeting of subscribers to the peace demonstration held last night it was resolved to devote the funds in (hand to the Coronation festivities.

[From Our Correspondent.] DUNEDIN, May 28. The Coronation celebrations here will be on as almost as great a scale as the celebrations of the Ducal visit. In the city alone £1000 is to be spent in order to fittingly celebrate the event.

The Kaiapoi Borough Counoil, at its meeting last evening, voted £100 towards the Coronation celebrations. It is intended to construct a swimming bath and a fountain to commemorate the Coronation. In answer to a telegram from the Mayor of Kaiapoi, the Acting-Premier has wired to the effect that the Government will grant a subsidy of pound for pound to the Council towards the work. ■
