Australia," which gives some of Mr Kinsella's (Dairy Commissioner) impressions upon the manner in which our butter is manipulated by Commonwealth dealers ; " The Canterburv Jcckfy Club," "Steeplechase Prospects," aud " Stipendiary Stewards," all of interest to many other than sporting readers, and marly" other instructive articles. Entertaining reading is supplied with equal liberality, the fiction end miscellaneous literature being by the mosfc popular writers of the day. The present of De Lisle's "Tales of Sport," "The Queen of Guessers," is ona of the best of the series ; the stirring serial " Dacobra," by, Harris Burland, will gain fresh readers every week, and j tho complete short stories are, in number I and quality, superior to those, given in any j other weekly. Football, Chess, Draughts, and even Ping-Pong are dealt with by.experts, and, ia fact, a complete library is to be obtained in the "Canterbury Times."-
