THEATRE ROYAL.
THE WORLD'S ENTERTAINERS. Thafc the World's' Entertainers provide the clsss of amusement which is appreciated by the public was evidenced by the fact that laat. evening the Theatre Royal was unable to contain the number of patrons who wished to witness the second performance of the combination. The entertainment, which is most decidedly (he best of its kind which has ever been presented to a Christchurch audience, has not a slack moment from start to finish, and for the greater pnrfc of the time the audience was "imply convulsed with laughter, which all through was punctuated with applause. Although in an entertainment of so sterling a character ifc is almost unfair fco single out anj- one artiste, mention must be. made of the entertainment provided by Mr C. R. Sweet, "the Musical Burglar," who kept the audience amused for fully half an hour without by any means satisfying their demands. The staging ofveach item was excellent, and the orchestra under the leadership of Mr J- -P* Knowles did splendid service. The World's' Entertainers will appear again this evening. To-morrow there will be°a matinee in the afternoon, aud the combination will make its hut. .«.B»eai*tt*ce in the evening.
