[From Odr Correspondent.] DUNEDIN, Feb. 26. Australian newspapers 'to diand to-day show that Wakeful, with odds of T to 2 laid on he*, •won the St George's Stakes, a, weight-for-age race, on the programme of the Victoria. Ama,tetir Turf Club's"" Autumn Meeting on Feb. 15. The field was a weak one, and- Wakeful won easily in lniin 44sec. Silenus defeated fourteen others in the Alma. Stakes, five 'furlongs, for two L year-olds.
