Sir Foote and Andorra together spurted five 'furlongs on the tan easily in lmin llssc, and Cretonne galloped one mile on the tan in lmin Sljsec. Barbarossa beat Flintlock over one mile and a- quarter on the sand in 2min 54sec, and Tip Top brushed over five furlongs on- the tan easily in lmin lOsec, but pulled up lame. Cariufhia, galloped six furlongs on the tan in' lmin 22sec, The Victory oae mile on the tan in lmin 512 sec, easing up, and Progedior a similar distance on the aan easily in l-min 523ec. Grasspan beat Iron Hoop over a mile and three furlongs on the sand in 2min 38Jsec, and Flagship galloped one mile on the sand in lmin 4&sec. Presto spurted five furlongs on the sand in lmin 9|sec, and Limber, Mylae, Ibex, Haymaker, Gazelle and Patvo did easy work. Sir Foote is now at 3 to 1 for the Newmarket Handicap.
