Sergeant J. O'Donovan, who is in charge of the Police Training Depot at Wellington, has 'been promoted to a sub-inspectorship. DUNEDIN, Feb. 19. Inspector O'Brien, of Napier, will take charge of the Dunedin police district on the retirement of Inspector Pardy, on MSlrch. 31. [From Our Correspondent.] DUNEDIN, Feb. 19. Inspector O'Brien, who replaces Inspector Pardy (retired) ait Dumeddn, was chief detective heire 'till he was promoted to be sub-inspector at Ohristchurch. From.
