FOOTBALL.
A special general meeting of the Sydenham Football Club was held 1 last evening, Mr G. Scott (vioe-presid'ont) occupying the oliair. The business of the evening was the discussion on the rulos relating to the eledtion of the Selection Committee and nomination oi officers. It was decided after a lengtfhv discussion — "That the selectors of the club b? appointed by th« General Committee horn, nominations handed in by members of tb.fl clv.b " ; also — " That the nominations for the officer of clvb captain, secretary, treasurer, General Committee and delegates to the Canterbury Rugby Union c!o?e nn Monday, Feb. 24, seven days /before th-3 annual meeting."
