A WORD TO WIVES.
Much nonsense ia said and written on the question of how a womafli can best hold a husband's love (says "Woman"). ; The only true solution of that question lies in the home itself. Let a young wife keep within her husband's means, give him a comfortable, attractive home to come to from his work, and let her fill that home with her womancharm and development and love for her husband, and she need never trouble herself as to the best methods to pursue to endear herself to her husband. If more wives would 1 strive to be a rest and comfort to their husbands by the legitimate means whidh God has given them to win and hold a man's love, there would bs no occasion for fear a® to whether they were, losing their complexion or ceasing to be their husbands' ideals. A young wife may hold her husbamd's attentions and love for a while because she is pretty and well dressed. But the pretties* girl or best dressed woman soon becomes uninteresting to a man ,when he finds out there is nothing more to be admixed in her than looks or her dresses.
