AQUATIC
A meeting of the committee of the Canterbury Rowing Club wa& held in the boathouse on Friday evening last, the captain (Mr F. I. Cowlishaw) in the chair. Mr E. M. Boulton was appointed the cjub's delegate to the New Zealand Amateur Rowing Association in Wellington, in succession to Mr L. Tripp, who has resigned. Mr H. Frost was appointed to the vacancy on the Racing Committee in place of Mr H Ayers, who has resigned, and Mr G. D. M'llraith was appointed to fill the vacancy on the General Committee caused by the resignation of Mr A. T. Bendall. The. captain was authorised to confer with Mr Rees with a view to ordering a new pleasureboat for the shed, " It was decided to hold scratch double-sculling races Tn connection with the Trial Fours to be rowed at Kerr's Reach on Saturday afternoon, March 1. The following crews have been chosen to go into training for -/.he Christchurch Regatta on Easter Monday: — Senior Fours:— F. I. Cowlishaw (stroke), G. D. MTlraith (2), N. L. Macbeth (3), 0. Moller (bow). Junior Fours— H. S. Hobbs (stroke), H. Frost (2), S. G. Styohe (3), R. Lake (bow). Maiden Fours.— E. C. Little (stroke), C. Hobbs (2), M. A. Powrie (3), H. Van Asch (bow). Junior Double Sculls. — H. S. Hobbs (stroke), ! 0. Moller (bow). Crews for Youths' Fours, Maiden and Youths' Double Sculls will be chosen later.
