The following weather forecast was telegraphed "from Wellington .. to-day. —A ga'.e from between the north-east and riorih-west'at,' all piaceis northward of Tauranga. arrdf&lanur: kau. strong winss from the eastward,-::thence couth to Napier and New Plymouth, and strong from 'the northward everywhere else. The Jjarometer wili fall everywhere. The sea wiil be considerable on, the west coast Jjputhward of New Plymouth, decreasing on tKceast coast between Napier and East Cape, .^noderate Elsewhere. The tides are increasing on the east coast r.ofih of East Gape, will be poor thence to Lyttelton, and low on the west coast north of Cape Egmont and moderate elsewhere. Warning signals fot northerly gales fire exhibited at Cape Maria Va&'OitettW and Tirititf. Sypopsis of the last hours:— A slowly increasing pressure- €t;erywhere. There have been strong easterly winds on the coast between East Cape arid Napier, wilh a heavy easterly sea and a moderate. Tainfail. In all other parts of the country .the weather has continued fine. A -low 'pressure io 'the north of East Cape travellEtT^to tae south-east.
