PRESENTATIONS.
[From Oue Correspondent.] DUNEDIN, Nov. 30. The Otago Agricultural and Pastoral Society last night entertained 'its late secretary, Mr E. F. Duthie, at a smoke concert, and, through Mr Brydone, presented siim with a gold watch. A presentation was made at the New Zeailaiid Clothing Company's Factoiy on Wednesday evening last by Mr D. Philips, head of the mackintosh department. The recipient was Miss Bessie Bishop, daughter of Mr Charles Bishop, for many years a member of the 'Ohristchurch Railway iStation staff. Miss Bis'hop lias been for some years employed in the above department, and left to be married. Her feilow-em-ploy-ees and managing officials of the company showed their esteem and kindly wishes in the practical form of a handsome set of cawers and pickle stand, with a pair of tongs. Mr Philips, on -behalf of the staff <and workers, spoke in- eulogistic terms of -the high, regard in which Miss Bishop was held, and wished her every happiness and prosperity in; her future life.
