PIGS AND POULTRY.
There w«re large entries of pigs at today's market s, an-J! liese met with a rather poor sale, prices 'being easier. Small porkers made 17s to 19s, stores lie 6d> to 16*. suckers and wean,-: em 6s 9di to 10s. Poultry came forward in fair numbers, 'but the supply was unequal to the demand, and' prices for table birdls were' firmer. Roosters made 3s 3d. to 5s 3d, pullets % 3d to 6s, ; lien.4 3s to 4s 3d, ducks 4s to 5s 3d, turkey cocks 12a to 18s, and hens 7s to Bs, 'all ab per pair. Owing to the holiday on Saturday next, i the market will "bs held on Friday.
