THE LOST OLD LADY.
NOT YET IDENTIFIED. Miss Ann Glover, the M'ealthy and eccentric old Indy who was found wandering in London City -with about eight thousand pounds' worth of property on her, has settled comfortably in her quarters at. the City of London Asylum at Stone, near Dartford. Nothing more is known of her tk.in was reported in the "' St*r " some time, ago, although several people have tried to identify her. It is possible that she ie known in the Midland counties, particularly at. Leamington, because she has frequently' mentioned the names of residents near that town. When she first went to her lodgings in Buyswater she said she had been travelling all night and had lsft her boxes at Padding- ; ton. In all likelihood, however, she had bi'en in London for some time. Her boxes had really been left at Paddington, but there were no railway labels on them, and it is thought that she hurriedly left her former lodgings and placed, her boxes temporarily in Paddington Station, just as she left Diem in Victoria Station when she suddenly quilted her Buyswater apartments.
