New Zealand beef,* 1801 b to 2201 b per quarter, fair average quality, ox fore-quarters 2|d, ox hind-quarters 3|'d.) Copper, on spot £63 7s 6d pea- ton, three months' £62 7s 6d per ton. Tin, £112 10s per ton. Lead, £11 8s 9d per ton. [Per Press Association.] : WELLINGTON, Oct. 21. The Agent : General's weekly cable message, dated London, Oct. 19, is as follows : — " 4'anterbury mutton. 3 5-8 d per Ib, Dunedin and Southland 3£d, North Island »3|d, | the Papanui's damaged cargo 2 7-Bd, River j Plate 3id. Mutton is very dull. The marI ket is over-supplied with heavy carcases of River Plate mutton in large supply. There I is no alteration in the lamb market since j last week. Messrs Dalgety and Company, Limited, have received the following cable message from tlieir London Office, under date Oct. 18: — Frozen Meat. — The market is dull, but prices are not quctably lower. f Butter. — Prices of butter are somewhat firmer.
