(Received Sept. 14, 9.14 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 13. At Colonel Blood's invitation, Commandant Viljoen sent a representative to question 7000 refugees in camp ab Middelburg. The envoy was agreeably surprised at the comforts provided. No complaints were made. Colonel Benson surprised a laager at Msddiebuirg, in the Transvaal', "capturing thirty-one prisoners and quantities of stock. President Kruger's youngest son and a well-known Boer Captain, named Ferrenia, were among the surrenderera at Belfast. Col6nel Spens brought to Kroonstad twenty prisoners, 2000 cattle, and 70 waggons surrendered at Zeerust. It is reported that General Botha's inactivity is owing to his efforts to cover the systematic importation, through unguarded passes in the Limpopo Mountains, of thousands of Krug Jorgensen rifles. Many recruits have thus come in. TK« women who were permitted to leave 1 the camps, for the purpose of persuading their husbands to surrender, found them reading the pro-Boer speeches recently delivered at Queen's Hall, London. The men were unconcLUaitory, 'being convinced that Great Britain is on the verge of/civil war. ,
