Susceptible to Colds.
Since taking Scott's Emulsion health has greatly improved. Coughs, colds, bronchitis, pneumonia, sore throats^ — such are the ailments that affect people in cold weather. Going out '.lito damp air and getting chilled, or, what is worse, getting too warm in houses, jfSces, factories, and places of amusement, and then. exposing the . over-heated body to Iraughts of cold air, soon result in inflam--nation of some sensitive part, and there you are! Throat irritated, lungs sore and 'a-me, while coughing weakens th« system and undermines health.A gentJAnan in Glasgow who bad eufferad every winter for years -with, colds, writes: — . "55 Bath Street, Glasgow, Scotland, " May 2nd, 1900. " Dear Sits,— l am pleased to inform you that I have derived muoh. benefit from' the use of your Scott's Emulsion. (From a photograph.) proved. I consider Scott's Emulsion an excellent and beneficial remedy for -all who ire liable to colds and general weakness. To such I can honestly recommend your preparation as being the best I have ever used, as it not only relieves a cold, but ouilds Tip. the system. It may interest you "to know that during the last three years I have suffered very much, "with catarrh of the throat, but since using Scott's Emulsion it has been greatly relieved and now causes one no inconvenience.— - Yours faithfully, "(Signed) 0. LOADER. Ordinary specifics are not enough, for these throat and lung 1 affections. They are a failure simply because they do not provide the system with strength to resist outside influences. What one wants to accomplish is not wily to relieve the local inflammation, but build up the system as well, and nothing does this so effectually as the real Scott's Emulsion. Inferior remedies that try to trade upon the reputation of Scott's Emulsion will not give satisfaction. You should make sure you purchase the genuine preparation, and then you will have the remedy that has done more to enhance the value- of cod-liver oil v.nd hypophosphites than any <yther agency in the world. Scoti's Emulsion has the great advantage of being perfectly palatable, and easy of digestion. It is most surprising to see how quickly it will cure a cough or cold, and ifc-er continuing with it a short time you wll feel stronger, and iv better health very way. Children grow robust and iculthy on Scott's Emulsion when it almost <eeins as though other forms of treatment j;id only aggravated their weak and wast ng tendencies. Do not fail to give Scott's Emulsion a fair trial aad thus learn what a splendid household remedy it really
