THE GENERAL SYNOD.

[Per Press Association-.] WELLINGTON, Sept 13. The General Synod concluded its session this morning. 'Resolutions were passed that tho method of raising money to indemnify the trustees of the Porirua College > Trust. ' if an indemnity is needed, be referred to the next General Synod, amd vha-fc the Trustees should be instructed to ascertain whether it is possible to devise a scheme for the Trust that would satisfy all parties and to appoint a recess committee to consult with the Trustees in regard to an appeal to tho Privy Council. Another resolution placed on record the regret of the Synod at the death of Archdeacon Dudley, of Auckland, aandi expressed condolence with his widow and family.
