» — — AN OFFICIAL FINED. [Per Press Association.] NEW PLYMOUTH, Sept. 12. In the Police Court this morning, James M'Calum, chairman, of th. Okato. School Com/mitte-, was fined 10s and cosrte for disturbing the school by dismissing. the scholar during the inspector's visit of inspection. The prosecution' was the outcome of a trouble between the Board and' the commit-' tee and the inspector. The case of the Marlborough Education Board and the Ble-i/heim School Committee was quoted, in which Mr Justice Edta raids held that the oeiiitrol of educational matters was in the band- of the Board. The defendant pleaded guilty. __
