CAPTURE OF A BRITISH PATROL. COUNTERACTING (JALUMNIES. GOOD WORK BY BRITISH WOMEN. LONDON, April 10. Colonel the Eon J. H. S. A British patrol giiarding a water-hole at Agen'fchuis, in Namaqualand, was captured by the enemy. The post has since been reoccupied by the British. The Women's Liberal-Unionist Association's distribution on the Continent of pamphlets giving authentic information with regard to South Africa is counteracting the calumnies against tihe British. Lord Lansdowne ! has appointed a commission to investigate the claims of foreigners deported from South Africa to Europe. *.
