FEILDING, April 9. Rain fell during the morning, 'but t/he weather is now nnc, and promises to remain so. The following are the results up to the timo of. our going to press :- — DENBIGH STAKES, of 70 -soys; six furlongs—Ostiak, 9st 7l*b, 1 ; Lady's Link, 7st 51* b, 2; Lady Bell, 83t lib, 3. All started. Won by a length. Time— lmin 17sec. Dividend— £2 13s.
KIMBOLTON HURDLE. RACE, of 70 soys; one mile and three-quarters— Vanquish, lOst, 1; Sudor, 9st 4lb, 2; Sylvanus, 9st 71b, 3. Waiwera and Whetu also started. Time— Smin 25 2-ssec. Dividend— £6 19s. A protest entered on the ground of inconsistent running wa3 dismissed.
OROUA HACK HURDLE RACE, of 50 soys; one mile and a half— -Roer, list slb, 1 ; Halevon, lOst 61b, Q; Nat Gould, 9st, 3. The only "starters. Won very easily. Time— 2min 56 l-ssec. Dividend— £l lis.
■ EASTER HANDICAP, of 100 soys; one mile and a distance — Bona Fide, 7st 71b, 1 ; Crusoe, 9st 61b, 2; Sylvia Park, Sst lib, 3. Jadoo also started. Won by a bare length. Time— Smin. Dividend— £7 2s.
