A meeting of the.'House Committee of the Hospital Board was held yesterday afternoon when . the resolution passed by the City, Council, as follows,: was placed before theV committee:— "That this Council ac-' cepts the responsibility of providing temporarily for rthe case under discussion, but does so- voder 'a most emphatic .protest, "believing that the Hospital "Board is .the ' proper body to take charge ejf this auk similar cases." After a lengthy debate,- apd an inspection of the ground -on the; . western aide of the -fever ward,:*n4 vft .jfeft #^4^ «#f2? * ah s^; time ago for d carpenter's •to*Vuo«Wi3?ej£ committee decided to submit the followingv resolution to the Board, at next aneetong:-- > "That, to meet the requirement* of the City Council regarding the patient reported on by Dr Mason, a small building recently. erected in the hospital grounds be removed to a site west of the fever ward, that it be lined, and that any alteration be made, to it that the house surgeon and the matron^ may require for sanitation purposes, -thework to" be put in hand at once; further-, more; that the City Council be advised. -that.; /the foregoing arrangement has been made, ;j . and until it is completed the necessary | dressing of the patient wiU be attended to by the hospital staff. . ,
