CONGRATULATIONS AND FAREWELLS. (Received Jan. 9, 9.44 a.m.) SYDNEY, .Jan. 9. Thejtfew Zealand troops 'will return by the Tutanekai to-day. _ ■■■-*:« Many of the leading visitors are unstinted in thedr praise of the Government's treatment of them, and its management of tihe 'celebration affairs. Mr Sedd'on .says : — "All the New Zealanders hers during the festi--vities are loud intheir praises of themanagemeiit, and the prevalent feeling is that your hospitality lias been virtually boundless." The .". Sydney Morning Herald," commenting in a similar strain, concludes :— " Bufc the success of the Federal celebrations dining Commonwealth Week was, after all, mainly due to the entire goodwill with which the people entered into the demonstration."
