Greig, Timaru, and Ck Marshall, Citizens' Band, Oamaru.— Will write you with refer- ; ence to the matter mentioned. BAND NOTES. .• To-morrow (Sunday) there will be another combined parade of bands, viz., Lyttelton, the' Marine, Kaiapoi and Elite. A collection will be made in aid of the Contest Fund. - Entries for the Jubilee Contest, close,today (Oct. 27). I learn that many will enter for* the various instruments. The B flat cornet, especially, is sure to-be keenly competed for. Mr G. Jenner tells me that everything .connected with the contest is in good order, also that he anticipates a large number of bandsmen will visit Cfirlrtchureh.
