A land transfer of more than ordinary interest was executed at the Narrander* Land Office (tho ."Narrandera Argus" states) lately, the remarkable feature about it • bednlg that on© of the parties was no less a person that the hero of Mafeking, Colonel Baden-Powell. This gentleman is a co-trustep with Rear-Admiral Bridge and Mr H. C. Wilson in an estate in the Narrandera district, and the document, in question was prepared in London, and the gallant colonel is describad as Fletcher Baden Smith Baden-Powell, gen.tleman, of London. There is a trifle of grim humour, about the superscription ; . Admiral Bridge and Mr Wilson attack their own signatures, but Baden-Powell's is signed "by his attorney, as his signature could hot b 9 obtained without considerable difficulty and delay."
