Newcastle Harbour ia full of oversea vessels awaiting loading, and additional fix-, tures are daily reported. Most of the collieries are working full time, and still are unable to supply the demand.IMPERIAL COMMISSIONS. Half the commissions -in the Imperial Army, offered to the colony, will be.allotted to officers serving at the front. THE CAPE CABLE. At the request of Mr Chamberlain, Mr Lyne has cabled the points agreed upon by Mr Crick and ?*x Watt with regard to the Cape cable. RESCUED SEAMEN. BRISBANE, May 14. The barque Sita has arrived, bringing the remainder (the mate and seven seamen) of the crew of the German barque Undine, which was wrecked in mid-ocean. The men . were picked up on the same day as the Oakhurst rescued the others. (Received May 15, 9.30 a.m.) VALEDICTORY. LAUNCESTON, May 15. Mr Irvine, the local manager of the Union Steamship Company, was entertained at a banquet prior to bis departure to fill an appointment at Auckland.
