THE FOURTH CONTINGENT.

[Per Press Association.] GISBORNE, Feb. 27

It, hap been decided to send fifteen men from Gisborne to form part of the Fourth Contingent. Arrangements for the selection of the men have been made. DUNEDIN, Feb. 27.

The camp 1011 this morning was 221, which means that seventy men from the Otago and Southland section "have yet to be excluded. Thirty-five have already been marked doubtful, but there will be considerable trouble in selecting the 6Ther ■ thirtyfive. It is suggested that a contingent race meeting should be held atith'e Forbijry before the departure, but the military authorities do not favour the idea.
