A meeting of the New Zealand Cricket Council was held last evening at the Canterbury Jockey Club's rooms ; present — Messrs W. H. E. Wanldyn (Taranaki) in the chair, J. N. Fowke (Auckland), T. D. Jlaraian andF. C. Raphael (Canterbury), H. A. Boddington and H. W. Hellyer (Otag'o), C. Treweek (Wellington), cZr. Clarke (Wanganui) and G. A. U. Tapper (Southland) honorary secretary.
