[Per Pbess Association.] DUJNEDIN, Feb. 25. Contingent night . at the Princess Theatre was a great success. Nearly 200 of the men marched from the camp, and on entering the theatre were received with enthusiastic cheering. The audience was one of the biggest ever seen in the theatre. It included Colonel Webb and nearly all the officers connected with the volunteer movement in Dunedin, and also the captain and Officers of the Tauranga. The result of the; matinee and the money thrown on the stage in the evening, was. £135 18s 2d, which is to be expended in the purchase of hbrses, to be named Djin Djin, Geisha, Bell of New ' York and Uncle Torn. Enthusiastic cheers were given for the Pollard's Company and the contingent.
