: «. THURSDAY COMPETITION. In the Thursday Cup competition, . the match Farmers' Co-operative v. Post and Telegraph, was won by the former on the first innings by 51 runs. Treweek 39 and Russell 17 were the only double figure scorers, for the Post and Telegraph, and Frankish 63, Roberts 26, Ridley 17, Carter 11 and Petrie 11 for the Farmers. Treweek, Palmer and Russell were the most successful bowlers for the Post a-nd Telegraph, and Cederwall and Frankish for the Farmers'.
