_ *■ — CHRISTCHURCH/ Thtjbsday, Dec. 14. (Before Mr R. Beetharn, S.M.). Crvn, Casks.— Judgment was given for plaintiff by default of the appearance of defendant,* with costs, in the following cases :— J. Ferguson v. W. 'Newell, claim £3 12s ; C Williams v. J. T. Partridge, £1 0s 2d ; Cassidy and Co. v. G. P. Mutu, £21. — T. and S. Morrin, Limited v. Thomas Atkinson, claim £28 12s 6d on a, judgment summons. Mr Cassidy appeared for the judgment debtor. The creditor's evidence had been taken in Auckland, but he was unrepresented in the present instance. The debtor stated his inability to pay, and no order was made. — Eric William Clarkson, a minor, by his nearest friend, his father v. Peter Paul Fleming and Mary Fleming, claim £55. Mr Cresswell was for the plaintiff, and Mr Andrews for the defendant. His Worship now gay© reserved judgment for the plaintiff for £15 and costs £9 7s, including a qualifying fee of £1 Is each to three doctors.'
