The quarterly meeting of the Christ-church Licensing Committee was held at the Magistrate's Court yesterday, at noon; present. — Messrs R. Beetham (oliairmanj, E. Smith, J. Hamilton, F. Trent and J. C. Maddison. Transfers were granted as follows : — Occidental Hotel, from H. Fleming to George Pain ; Railway Hotel, from G-. W. Pearce to William Johnston ; City Hotel, from R. I Alexander to Francis Arenas ; Oxford Hotel, froan G. Bone to A. J. Prior; Waltham Arms, from executors late Thomaf Birch to Emma Birch ; Southern Cross, from G. H. Lindstrom to William Jame? Diffen; Wellington Hotel, from John Manning to Walter Halliday ; Foresters' Ho+iel. from William Charles Morgan to George i Bone.
