THEATRE ROYAL.
" The Belle of New York" " has"evidently lost none of its popularity, as the Theatre Royal was crowded last evening, when the piece was played for the fifth time. The audience was enthusiastic in its applause, and almost all- the songs and -dances .were encored. " The Belle of New York " will be repeated to-niglit and to-morrow night for the last time in Christdrarch. In-order* to give country visitors an opportunity of witnessing this typical American comedy, there will be a matinee performance tomorrow. Doors will be opened at 1.30, the- curtain rising at two o'clock. On. Monday night the gorgeous speciade of the pantomime, "Ali Baba and the Fonfcy Thieves," will be staged. The prodHction will be the suneas at her Majesty's Theatre, Sydney, where it was the attraction lasb Christmas.
