RANGIORA.
The yarding at the Rangiora Market yesterday comprised 1500 sheep, 90 cattle and 80 pigs, which sold at the following prices : Bucchers' fat sheep 15s -to 16s 6d ; merino wethers lls 6d to 12s 6d, freezers 16s 6d to 17s 6d, half-bred ewes, in lamb, 13s 6d to 14s 6d, merino ewes, in lamb, 8s lOd to 10s 6q\ three-quarter-bred wethers, off turnips, 15s to 15s 3d, hoggets 10s 6d to 12s. ..Cattle— Beef, prime 20s -per 1001 b, second quality 17s to 18s, cow beef. 14s, springers (good) £5 to £5 10s, older do 30s to £3, two-year-old cattle £2 15s to £3 ss, yearlings 20s to 255. Pigs — Baconers 40s to 455, porkers 28s to 335, good stores 25s to 28s, medium 18s to 20s, weaners 14s to 16s, suckers 10s to lls, sows hi pig 55s to 60s, choppers 55s to 60s. Heavy crossbred skins 4s 9d to 6s 6d, do merino 4s to 6s, lighter sorts 3s to 4s ; fat lls 6d to 13s 6d a cwt ; bag wool 5d to 6d a lb ; hides 3d to 4d a lb; calfskins Is 6d; fowls 2s 6d to 4s a pair ; chick wheat Is 6d to Is lOd a bushel ; milling do 2s to 2s 2d • barley 2s to 2s 6d, Oape do 2s ; oats Is 3d to Is 6d, beans 2s 4d to 2s 6d ; peas 2s to 3s 6d ; grass seed Is 6d to 3s ; cocksfoot 2^d to 3£d a lb ; cowgrass 4£d to 7d, oatsheaf chaff 35s to 40s a ton; bran 60s; sharps 755; potatoes from 5s to 10s a ton.
