IMPORTED STOCK.
The lonic, which arriv*d at Wellington yesterday, brought a shipment of valuable live stock, consisting of a two-tooth Hampshire Down ram, consigned to Mr Rayner, of Wairarapa, and two Hampshire Down, one Southdown, two Engb'sh Leicester and six Shropshire rams, all consigned to Mr J. Davenport (Christchurch). An English Shire draught horse purchased in England by Mr Guildford (Waimate) at a cost of £125, for breeding purposes, also arrived by the vessel, and is in fairly good condition, considering the amount of rough weather encountered on the voyage, 'liie sheep were landed in good condition.
