MEETINGS OF SOCIETIES.
A meeting of the committee of the Licensed Victuallers' Association %vas held on Monday. Mr John Neill was in the chair. The hope was generally expressed that every citizen would, see that his name was on the electoral roll. The date of the monthly meetings was altered from Thurs-. day to Friday, and a-fterr the transaction of routine business the meeting terminated. A meeting of the New Brighton Bath. Committee was held last week, at which it was resolved to collect aJI promised subscriptions without delay. Arrangements have been mado for a concert to be held in Hawker's Hall on Sept. 27 in aid of the fund.
